Ok, so I think I understand this correctly. In the series one results, it says, "Every few weeks, we’ll reveal another toy design that will be included in the new line." And for the series two results, we won't know until the 12th week ends who won each week. So does that mean we might not even know the results of series one until we know the results of series two?

If thats true, there might be designs that were submitted a looooong time ago with series one that will be resubmitted twelve times and might not know they are going to be part of series one until they've promoted for series two for 12 weeks!

To me, that seems like a lot of time and effort that could be spent making new designs and/or allowing others to win. It'd be nice to know who got into series one asap and know who wins series two each week... then you could announce which of the 12 series two winners is the grand prize winner and who designs the packaging at the end of the 12 weeks. That way, instead of people resubmitting their designs over and over, it will promote people who won to create NEW designs and/or allow others a better chance of winning (which is the whole idea, right? Letting the unknowns be known?). That will also keep things fresh because it won't be the same contest over and over and over every week.

This is just an idea I had. I'd love to hear what others think (especially the fine folks at aarting).
